Honda has launched the Activa 6G in India at Rs 65,549 for the Standard variant, while the Deluxe variant costs Rs 67,049.The Honda Activa 6G is the newest generation of the company’s highest selling model that is available in two variants – Standard and Deluxe. Both prices are ex-showroom Hyderabad. This makes it around Rs 7,600 to Rs 8,000 more expensive than the BS4-compliant Activa 5G that it replaces. That’s because the Honda Activa 6G gets an external fuel filler and combination key slot, telescopic front suspension, a 12-inch front wheel, and a new BS6-compliant, fuel-injected engine silently brought to scooter by an ACG starter. Honda also claims the Activa 6G’s mileage is imporved by 10 per cent. The scooter retains the overall styling of the previous model although with slight tweaks to its bodywork and chrome embellishments on the front apron.
Honda is offering the Activa 6G with an option of six colour schemes which include Glitter Blue Metallic, Dazzle Yellow metallic,Pearl Spartan Red,Black, Pearl Precious White and Matte Axis Grey Metallic. As for competition, it continues to go up against the TVS Jupiter,Suzuki Access BS6 and other scoooters in the country.
